Arizona Flight Training Center
KGEU
AFTC was established in 2008 as an alternative to the large, mostly international flight schools that were dotting the Southwest. The founders of AFTC noticed that there existed a void that the truly customized flight schools had once filled. They were places where a student or renter pilot could go where he/she was important and their individual needs as a student were both recognized and fulfilled. AFTC was created for that purpose. Since then, AFTC has grown to include a new 5,000 square foot training building and over 5,400 square feet of dedicated maintenance hangar. AFTC's fleet includes a wide variety of aircraft from several varieties of aircraft, through trainers, rentals and multi-engine aircraft, manufactured by Cessna & Piper. Some aircraft are equipped with advanced 'glass' panels, or all electronic flight instrumentation, manufactured by Garmin. AFTC is located at the Glendale Municipal Airport (KGEU) in Glendale, Arizona, which offers an average of 350 days a year of clear and sunny skies.
